Trainers Beth Marcil and Lisa M. Miller are delighted to offer this thorough workshop retreat designed to prepare and qualify participants for Facilitator Training with any Trainer around the world.
This event is also open to beginners, as well as those wanting to deepen their understanding of everything and anything SoulCollage®️.
If you are already a SoulCollage®️ Facilitator and are wondering how to lead a full Introductory Workshop yourself, this is for you. Every handout we provide will be useable for your own students. Join us as both a Facilitator and student.
We look forward to spending time with participants of every level of SoulCollage®️familiarity.
Here’s what we’ll cover:
1. The Principles of SoulCollage®️
2. The Four Suits: their meanings, their faceted applications, their relationship to each other and to you, the card maker
3. Transpersonal Cards
4. Card Making 101 (and 10001!)
5. How to voice and later consult a SoulCollage®️ card/deck
6. How to scribe for a partner
Essential Concepts (and mysteries revealed):
*The one and the many
*Both/And
*Neters
*Local story and larger story
*One voice per card
*Copyrighted images
*Quick cards, slower cards, intentional cards
*We’ll email you a downloadable SoulCollage®️ Fundamentals PDF before our workshop.
*Upon completion of the workshop, you will also receive a Certificate of Attendance. Should you decide to register for a Facilitator Training in the future, your Trainer will know that you have fulfilled this important prerequisite.
1. 5x8 mat boards or index cards or carefully measured, cut-up cracker boxes.
2. Viewfinder - 9” x 12” card stock with 5” x 8” opening for composing images(Template sent as an attachment along with the handout packet in this email)
3. Scissors
4. Glue stick (we like an archival quality glue stick that won't unstick images over time, but if you have a favorite that you like to use, that's fine, too).
5. Images pre-trimmed from magazines, calendars, or brochures. Ten or more of each of the following categories will be helpful:
• main images (persons, objects, animals)
• backgrounds
• Or downloaded and printed images you'd like to work with.
• Or a photocopy of a photograph of someone or something meaningful to you.
• You may also want to have a few extra magazines on hand in case you want to have more image options.
6. Journal and favorite pen.
7. Have your home printer at the ready in case you'd like to search for an Animal Companion image after the guided visualization for the Companion Suit meditation.
8. Your heart for personal exploration in the context of a carefully tended, inclusive, dynamic group of SoulCollagers.
