Lisa's MISSION
Collaborating with inspiring women in leadership and service, to cultivate a sacred space for women of all ages and backgrounds, to explore personal health and wellness in the context of sisterhood. It's her hope that every participant walks away inspired to integrate personal tools for well-being into daily life, for every personal chapter and season, and does so.
Each Sunday from 1:00-2:15pm EDT, join us, a panel of mind and body health specialists, artists, community builders, and more (a new panel each week), for an hour of inspiration about passion, making your life work, thriving, and blooming, no matter where you’re planted.
Panel experts might lead brief meditations, journaling exercises, a calming breath exercise, a grounding practice, chair yoga, and more. From our respective fields, we'll share what works time and time again, from enduring healing principles tried and true, and we'll share how and why we take that trusted medicine ourselves.
You, the participating audience, with all the wisdom and experience you bring, are the vital nourishment in the soil here. Using the miracle of Zoom we’ll gather again from far and wide—each of us bringing the wealth of wisdom we’ve learned and earned—to contribute to the sacred healing space created.
You can choose to remain silent, or, contribute with your voice during Q&A and large group chat moments.
(Please note and be advised: This gathering encourages adult conversation and themes, and there may be strong language at times. Content is not suitable for school-aged children.)

Abigail Miller, in Philadelphia, PA, is a Teaching Artist Fellow in Artist Year, the first national AmeriCorps program for artists who dedicate themselves to a year of service to their county (United States).
The Artist Year Mission: To ensure that every underserved student in America, has arts education through a national service arts corps. Growing up, while Abigail was equally drawn to science, engineering, and arts, it was literature, writing, crafting, drawing, painting, and sculpture, that truly nourished and sustained her. She graduated from a Creative and Performing Arts High School, and then with a degree in Fine Arts from Haverford College. Now she brings arts education to kids in elementary school in West Philadelphia, and continues to follow her passions in art making and animal activism. Lauren Higdon, in Lexington, KY,
is the owner, director and co-creator of Centered, a body centered therapies and yoga studio. She’s been practicing and teaching yoga and massage therapy for over 19 years; her private practice focuses on massage therapy, yoga and a variety of other bodywork modalities: craniosacral, Thai massage, and movement re-education. Her ongoing passions and practices include family time, hiking, art, yoga, meditation, breathwork, martial arts, mental health awareness and advocacy. She particularly loves working with women and families moving through birth, life transitions, trauma and recovery as well as children and infants with sensory, digestive and developmental needs. Lauren’s mission is to help spread the power and potential of holistic care. Her belief and practice in promoting oxytocin as a mechanism for healing is a defining characteristic of her work, life and daily self care practices. She feels that self care is our personally prescribed “medicine” and in today’s world, taking this time each day is not selfish but rather necessary for our overall health, well-being and connection to our precious world. Dr. Janelle McNeal, Ph.D :"I’m a licensed psychologist in Lexington, Kentucky, and I specialize in working with entrepreneurial women. I understand the pressure and stress that come along with owning your own business. It’s easy to be consumed by your work and to struggle to balance work with all the other areas of your life. I genuinely care about each of my clients. If you’re also ready to invest in yourself, we’ll work together to figure out what’s going well in your life and what causes you stress. We’ll assess your goals, your to-do list, your strengths and feelings, and will come up with a game plan to get you in a better place. After completing therapy, my clients tell me they experience not only a decrease in their stress levels and negative symptoms but also an increase in happiness. Overall, they describe finally finding a sense of rhythm among the different aspects of their lives. I’m invested in helping you achieve a more meaningful, authentic, and satisfying life."
